After months of speculation as to who could be the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing came to an end, attention has now been placed on which famous faces could be stepping out onto the dance floor later this year.

This year’s Strictly Come Dancing series will look very different to what fans are used to, with Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe at the helm as hosts, while new professional dancers will also be welcomed to the fold.
But amidst all of these announcements, there are still some more to come. So far, four names have been at the forefront of rumours for the Strictly cast, though official confirmation will not arrive until later in the year.

Jeff Brazier

Age: 47
Job: TV presenter

Jeff Brazier is a TV presenter, who first began his career in football before moving to television. He has presented the likes of Finders Keepers and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!, and has appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity Race Across the World.
He is father to Bobby Brazier, who previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, as well as Freddy, who he appeared on Celebrity Race Across the World with.
A source told The Sun: “Jeff was approached by the Beeb about taking part in Strictly this year and he is tempted.
“Previously he said he wouldn’t do it because he didn’t want to step on Bobby’s toes. But three years have passed now and it’s a massive opportunity for Jeff.”
The source added: “He has discussed it with Bobby who thinks it would be amazing if his dad was to give it a go. Jeff has yet to sign his contract but everyone around him is urging him to do it.”
Lacey Turner

Age: 38
Job: Actress

Lacey Turner is an actress best known for her portrayal of Stacey Slater on EastEnders, which she first originated in 2004. The actress is currently on a temporary break from the BBC soap to spend time with her family and is reportedly looking to try her hand at something new.
Turner’s others TV credits include Our Girl, Being Human and Switch.
A source told The Sun: “Strictly bosses are delighted to snap Lacey up for the series, especially as she has such a huge fan base from her time on the soap.”
The source continued: “She’s down to earth and viewers will be excited to get to know her personality away from Albert Square.
“She has loved having some quality time off screen to focus on parenting, but feels like now is the perfect time to learn to dance and try something different before she reprises her role in EastEnders.”
Delta Goodrem

Age: 41
Job: Singer

Delta Goodrem is an Australian singer-songwriter has been in the music industry for over 25 years, having signed her first record deal at just 15. She gained international recognition with with her debut album Innocent Eyes, released in 2003, a 23-times Platinum phenomenon and one of the highest-selling albums in Australian history.
She recently represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, where she came in fourth place with an impressive 287 points.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, the singer was quizzed by hosts Ed Balls, Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold about whether Strictly could be on the cards later this year.
She said: “Every time I’ve been in the UK and I can immerse into [Strictly], I love music with all my heart.
“As I said last year before Eurovision, I’m always open. I love the variety of the arts… I’m always open!”
Dani Dyer

Age: 29
Job: TV personality

Dani Dyer is a TV personality and actress who first rose to fame on Love Island in 2018.
She joined the reality series as an OG Islander and coupled up with Jack Fincham. The couple quickly became fan favourites and later went on to win the season.
Since then, Dyer has appeared on The One Show as a guest reporter, co-presented MTV’s True Love or True Lies? and made a guest appearance on EastEnders. She co-stars alongside her father Danny in The Dyers’ Caravan Park – which has recently been renewed for a second season!
Dani was part of the 2025 line-up of Strictly Come Dancing but was forced to withdrew due to an injury, but has been keen to return to the dance floor for a second chance.
“I’d love to do it again,” Dani said during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show. “If they rang me, I’d answer the phone. I was devastated. It was hell for me when I hurt my foot, I was so sad.”
