The Traitors winner Stephen Libby is reportedly in talks to join the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing.
Libby rose to fame on this year’s edition of the hit castle-based BBC show, in which he was a Traitor and ended up winning the £95,750 prize pot alongside Rachel Duffy – making them the first UK Traitors pairing to triumph together.
Since his time on the show earlier this year, Libby has quit his job as a cyber security consultant to pursue a career in TV and has built up a considerable fan base.
He is now reportedly in talks with producers to join the Strictly line-up, with a source telling The Sun: “The Strictly casting team have met with Stephen and think he could be a great fit.
“Stephen was hugely popular on The Traitors and since leaving Ardross Castle he has built up a very big fan base. The BBC are always keen to utilise their talent and Stephen is ideal.”

A BBC spokesperson told Radio Times: “We don’t comment on speculation.” RT has also reached out to Libby’s reps.
Five celebrities have now been confirmed for the line-up of the new Strictly season – most recently the winner of Love Island 2025, Cach Mercer. He joins fellow former Love Island star Dani Dyer, who has returned after being forced to drop out from the dancing show last year due to injury.
Chris Appleton, Lacey Turner and Delta Goodrem have also been announced as part of the 2026 Strictly cast.

Libby was a fan-favourite on The Traitors, in part due to his impeccable fashion sense – notably his extensive wardrobe of jumpsuits – and has since joined the cast of This Morning where he offers fashion takes and has also reported from the Oscars red carpet.
Speaking to Radio Times earlier this year, Libby explained that he would love to work on The Great British Sewing Bee or classic fashion series The Clothes Show, which last aired in 2009.
