Mike White casts two Survivor 50 costars in The White Lotus Season 4
Mike White revealed during the Survivor 50 finale that he cast two fellow contestants in The White Lotus Season 4, Deadline reported. White called into the live episode from France, where he is currently filming the upcoming HBO installment. He confirmed that Charlie Davis and Kamilla Karthigesu will appear in the fourth season of the Emmy-winning series.
White has notably featured former Survivor players from his original season in every installment of the drama. He first appeared on Survivor’s 37th season, David vs. Goliath, which aired in 2018. Meanwhile, Season 1 of The White Lotus featured Alec Merlino in a recurring role as a hotel bartender.
Angelina Keeley and Kara Kay appeared as hotel guests in Season 2 of the series. Natalie Cole and Carl Boudreaux then made appearances in Season 3. Davis finished second on Survivor 46 in 2024, while Karthigesu placed fourth on Survivor 48.
“Everybody’s invited, but there are gonna be two contestants that we’re flying out to be in the show, and they are Charlie and Kamilla,” White said during the finale. The creator had moved filming for Season 4 to participate in the milestone 50th season of Survivor. After his elimination as the fourth contestant voted out, White returned to production in France.
Davis and Karthigesu join a star-studded cast that includes Laura Dern, Ben Kingsley, Kumail Nanjiani, Rosie Perez, Steve Coogan, and Sandra Bernhard. Other confirmed actors include Max Minghella, Max Greenfield, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, and Heather Graham. The new season films at the Chateau de La Messardiere in Saint-Tropez, with the Cannes Film Festival also serving as a backdrop. Executive producer David Bernad teased that Season 4 would be “the personal and the funniest.”
