Glasgow will briefly be the centre of the sporting world this summer for the Commonwealth Games 2026.

UK viewers looking for live coverage on the BBC will be sorely disappointed as, after 72 years, the public service broadcaster is no longer the TV home of the Games.

TNT Sports has taken over that mantle and will show more than 600 hours of live events from Glasgow 2026 across multiple channels and HBO Max.

With so much sport on, catching every big moment is nearly impossible, but that’s where highlights come in – and there are a number of different ways to stay up to date with all the heroism and heartbreak.

Radio Times brings you all the details on how to watch highlights of the Commonwealth Games 2026.

Commonwealth Games 2026 free daily highlights

Free-to-air live coverage of the Commonwealth Games 2026 may be a thing of the past, but UK viewers can tune in to a nightly highlights show on 5 without paying for a subscription.

Former Olympic sprinter Jeanette Kwakye will present the hour-long highlights show, which airs at 10:30pm every night from Friday 24 July to Sunday 2 August.

There are also nightly highlights on Gaelic language channel BBC Alba.

Commonwealth Games 2026 highlights on TNT Sports and HBO Max

TNT Sports also has a daily highlights show, which airs every night at 10:30pm on TNT Sports 2.

The show contains an hour of highlights from Glasgow 2026 and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Fans can tune in to watch every moment of this summer’s Commonwealth Games live on all HBO Max subscription plans, starting from £4.99.
