“I don’t think I’m dramatic. Quite the opposite, actually. I mean, I can get a bit aggressive…” Two Witches Films has unveiled an official trailer for the indie horror film Frankie, Maniac Woman, the latest from French genre filmmaker Pierre Tsigaridis. A follow-up to Two Witches and Traumatika, reuniting him with Dina Silva who was also in Two Witches before. After initially premiering at Grimmfest last year, it’s out to watch in theaters this month. Battling against the legacy of childhood trauma, internalized misogyny, and the image-obsessed fat shaming culture of the Los Angeles music business, the aspiring singer-songwriter Frankie Ramirez finally snaps with bloody results. Starring Dina Silva as Frankie, Stefanie Estes, Tim Fox, Jordan Debarge, Rocío de la Grana, Pierre Tsigaridis, and Daniella Mendoza. Described as “a riff on Texas Chain Saw Massacre meets American Psycho with a dash of The Substance.” This is a nasty, wacky, extra violent, super gory trailer for a film horror fans need to keep an eye on. If you can stomach it.
Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Pierre Tsigaridis’ horror Frankie, Maniac Woman, on YouTube:

Battling against a legacy of childhood trauma, internalised misogyny, and image-obsessed fat shaming of the LA music business, aspiring singer-songwriter Frankie Ramirez finally snaps, with bloody results… “Verging wildly between slyly satiric social observation, garish absurdist black comedy, and gory, ultra-violent mayhem – [an] audiovisual assault; a wild, weird, unpredictable, bone-rattling rollercoaster ride, consistently visually inventive, frequently outrageous, and filled, like all of Pierre’s films, with his evident love of genre cinema, past and present.” Frankie, Maniac Woman is directed by French genre filmmaker Pierre Tsigaridis, director of the films Two Witches and Traumatika previously. The screenplay is written by Dina Silva and Pierre Tsigaridis. Also produced by Dina Silva and Pierre Tsigaridis. This first premiered at the 2025 Grimmfest Horror Festival in the UK last year. Two Witches Films debuts Tsigaridis’ Frankie, Maniac Woman horror film in select US theaters starting April 24th, 2026 this spring. Anyone curious?
