Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has kicked things up a notch with the death of a major character, whose absence is sure to further destabilise Kingpin’s oppressive New York City regime.
The shocking twist capped off a nostalgic episode, filled with flashbacks to previously unseen events from before the Netflix series, which allowed two lost characters to return for fleeting guest appearances.
Alas, this delightful fan service ultimately ended in tragedy, as we bid farewell to an original member of the Daredevil cast – don’t worry, we won’t reveal their identity here just in case you haven’t caught up yet.
With only three episodes left to go, it’s a tad surprising that we’re still yet to see anything from Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, whose return was spotlighted prominently in the Daredevil: Born Again season 2 trailer.
Could next week finally be her moment to shine? We have our fingers crossed.

When is Daredevil: Born Again season 2 episode 6 out?
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 episode 6 will be available on Disney+ from Tuesday 21 April (in the US) or Wednesday 22 April (in the UK).
The difference in date comes down to the time difference between the UK and the US, with American audiences getting the show on Tuesday evening, which unfortunately equates to the early hours of the morning over here.
That means most UK-based viewers won’t be among the first to catch each episode, as it will be past many of our bedtimes (mine included), but at least we’ll have something to look forward to on Wednesday mornings.
How many episodes are in Daredevil: Born Again season 2?
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will consist of eight episodes in total.
That’s one fewer than the first season, but on the bright side, a third season is confirmed to be on the way – so it’s not like we’ll be short on Daredevil goodness anytime soon.
