There is no debate anymore over whether Dhurandhar 2 is a blockbuster. That question was answered a long time ago. The real conversation now is about the final destination. After a sensational start and an outstanding run in cinemas, the latest trend suggests that Dhurandhar 2 is likely to end its India box office journey at around Rs. 1140 crore.

The film currently stands at Rs. 1053.50 crore after 27 days, including paid previews. Over the fourth weekend, Dhurandhar 2 collected Rs. 6.50 crore on Friday, jumped to Rs. 12.50 crore on Saturday, and then added Rs. 14 crore on Sunday. That weekend growth showed the film still has audience pull and that there is enough interest left for weekend spikes. However, the Monday after that came in at Rs. 5 crore, followed by Rs. 6.50 crore on Day 27. These are still respectable numbers for a film that has already crossed the Rs. 1000 crore mark, but they also indicate that the run has entered a more settled phase.
In simple terms, Dhurandhar 2 is still doing business, but it is no longer in the stage where one expects dramatic daily surprises. The film is now adding collections in a more measured way.
With more than Rs. 1053 crore already in the bag, there is enough cushion for it to add another Rs. 80-90 crore from here. In fact, a finish around Rs. 1140 crore would still be enormous. It would underline just how powerfully the film performed through its opening phase and how well it managed to sustain audience interest over several weeks. The only difference is that the final stretch now looks more about consolidation than acceleration.
As things stand today, Rs. 1140 crore looks like the most sensible and evidence based call for the Dhurandhar 2 lifetime collection in India.
