An epic new trailer for Dune: Part Three has been released, and it shows Paul Atreides at his darkest yet.

The new film sees Oscar-nominated superstar Timothée Chalamet reprise his role as the protagonist, Paul Atreides, one final time, with the character now the tyrannical emperor of the known universe, as his Fremen followers wage war across the universe.
The footage makes it clear that this is a very changed Paul – not least with those long curls shaved off – as he also clashes with his true love Chani (Zendaya) in emotional scenes.
The new trailer – which follows the first earlier this year – also focuses on the return of an old face – with Jason Momoa returning from Part One as Hayt, a reimagined version of Paul’s old swordmaster, Duncan Idaho.
Others who appear in the trailer include Anya Taylor-Joy as Paul’s unsettling all-seeing sister, Alia Atreides and the new antagonist Scytale (Robert Pattinson), who plots Paul’s downfall with his political bride, Irulan (Florence Pugh).
The film also sees the return of Javier Bardem as Fremen leader Stilgar, Charlotte Rampling as stern Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam, and Rebecca Ferguson as Paul and Alia’s scheming mother, Lady Jessica, last of whom is absent here.

Also confirmed in the international fan screening event and Q and A with acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve and Chalamet himself was the reveal that a special preview of footage would be attached to IMAX screenings of The Odyssey.
The footage, which was shown exclusively to the press and fans at the special trailer unveiling, depicted a Fremen attack on a rain-drenched homeworld as part of Paul’s Holy War across the universe.
It’s dark, wet, and muddy and gives ample screentime to Bardem and also Isaach de Bankoklé as Fremen warrior Otheym.

Other fans will have to wait to see Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed take on Homer’s epic The Odyssey in IMAX cinemas to catch this sneak peak – which also ends on ANOTHER new trailer.
