Emily in Paris is preparing to say au revoir as the Netflix series has confirmed the upcoming season 6 will be its last.

Production for the season has officially begun, with an official photo showing Lily Collins, who plays the titular marketing executive, posing at a lookout point in Greece,
However, the photograph came with confirmation that the American’s adventures in Europe will be winding down and the show will end with the upcoming episodes.
Lily confirmed the news in a social media post, stating: “Hey, it’s Lily. I just wanted to share something with you all. After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I’m here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final.

“Season 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of the land. Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we’re now filming.

While we don’t know how the episodes will play out, the most recent season saw Emily receive a postcard from will they/won’t they love interest Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) from Greece with an invitation to join him.
It seems she takes him up on the offer, with the first teaser pic confirming she will be heading there at some point this season.
Back in France there’s even more drama to be had after Emily’s bestie Mindy (Ashley Park) got engaged to her on/off boyfriend Nico, despite her growing feelings for the dapper Englishman Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).
That’s before we even get to the growing financial troubles of Agence Grateau, the ad agency run by Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) that Emily works for.
