Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her return to the big screen with Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, a film inspired by the heroic events that unfolded during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. At the recently held trailer launch event, the actress took a moment to acknowledge the contribution of renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra, praising his role in bringing the project to her and applauding his impact on aspiring actors across the industry.

Speaking at the event, Kangana highlighted how Mukesh Chhabra has become an important bridge between talent and opportunity in the entertainment industry. She lauded his accessibility and dedication to discovering fresh faces. “We have to give it to Mukesh Chhabra ji. He has become a gateway for so many people. He launches so many talents and takes auditions for countless aspiring actors. I mean, he is very easily accessible,” she shared.

The actress also revealed that it was Chhabra’s persistence that convinced her to listen to the film’s narration. According to Kangana, despite receiving countless messages, Mukesh continued to follow up and strongly encouraged her to hear the story. “Actually, I get a lot of messages, but you can’t open every message. I got his message, and he insisted not once but at least 10 times that I listen to it (story). He said, “Definitely listen to it once. So, thank you very much for that,” he added.

Known for his casting work on several acclaimed projects, Mukesh Chhabra has built a reputation for identifying and nurturing emerging talent. After contributing his casting expertise to major productions such as Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar The Revenge, he now brings his precision and eye for talent to Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata.

Directed by Manoj Tapadia, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is based on true events surrounding the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks. The film follows the courageous efforts of hospital workers who kept nearly 400 people alive inside Cama Hospital while armed assailants carried out coordinated attacks across the city. The film features an ensemble cast including Girija Oak, Smita Tambe and Priya Berde, among others.

With its gripping premise rooted in real-life heroism and a powerful ensemble cast, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata aims to bring an inspiring chapter of resilience and courage to audiences nationwide.
