Global girl group KATSEYE has officially announced the release of their third EP, WILD, set to arrive on August 14, 2026, via HYBE x Geffen Records. The upcoming project follows their 2025 EP Beautiful Chaos, which earned a Grammy nomination and debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200.

The announcement comes amid a high point in the group’s career. KATSEYE has secured three nominations at the American Music Awards, including New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video for “Gnarly,” and Breakthrough Pop Artist. Fan voting for the awards is currently underway, further amplifying the group’s visibility on the global stage.

Adding to the momentum, the group recently made a notable debut at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival 2026, where their performance received widespread acclaim. Publications such as Rolling Stone and Pitchfork highlighted their set among the standout acts of the first weekend, while Billboard described it as “bonkers.” Their stage presence and ability to draw large crowds were also widely noted, marking a significant milestone in their live performance journey.

During the festival, KATSEYE also performed their new single ‘Pinky Up’ live for the first time. The track quickly gained traction, topping Billboard readers’ poll as the favorite new music release of the week. The accompanying music video, directed by Bardia Zeinali and produced by Roisín Moloney, has further contributed to the song’s growing popularity.

Beyond Coachella, the group has a packed schedule for 2026. They are set to perform at major festivals including The Governors Ball Music Festival, Hinterland Music Festival, and Head In The Clouds Festival. Notably, their first-ever tour in support of Beautiful Chaos was completely sold out, underscoring their growing fanbase.

Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ Dream Academy initiative and further popularised by Pop Star Academy, KATSEYE represents a new wave of globally oriented pop acts. The group was also named among Google’s top trending musicians in the U.S. in 2025 and received recognition as TikTok’s Global Artist of the Year.

Looking ahead, HYBE is expanding its talent search through the HYBE India Audition initiative, aiming to discover and nurture new artists for the international stage—an approach that reflects the model behind KATSEYE’s formation and success.
