Michael B. Jordan celebrates former costars from The Wire joining Delphi cast
Michael B. Jordan revealed the cast for Delphi, a Creed spinoff series heading to Prime Video. The Oscar winner shared an Instagram post celebrating the addition of former The Wire costars Andre Royo and Wood Harris to the show. Jordan also highlighted Moonlight actor André Holland as part of the ensemble.
“These are men I have looked up to, learned from, and been inspired by for a long time,” Jordan said on Instagram. He added that two of them shared a set with him when he was a kid. “Watching them work back then taught me things I still carry with me today,” he continued.
Jordan played the doomed Wallace in Season 1 of The Wire as a teenager. Royo portrayed homeless drug addict Bubbles across all five seasons of the acclaimed HBO series. Harris starred as drug kingpin Avon Barksdale for the show’s first three seasons.
Harris will reprise his Creed franchise role as Little Duke in Delphi. The series follows young boxers training at an elite academy to achieve ultimate glory. Additional cast members include Demián Bichir, Niles Fitch, Sofia Black-D’Elia, and Benji Santiago.
“This week marked the start of filming in Los Angeles, where the Delphi legacy began,” Jordan said. He described the project as special and praised the people who bet on the next evolution of Creed.
Marco Ramirez serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Jordan’s Outlier Society production company. Production officially began on May 18, 2026, in Los Angeles. The three Creed films have collectively grossed over $660 million worldwide.
