Acclaimed actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty has taken to social media to praise the trailer of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, calling it “spectacular” and describing the actor’s performance as “absolute fire” in every frame. In his Instagram story, Shetty also highlighted the “magnificent layer” added by Shiva Rajkumar and the “beautiful, vibrant spark” brought to the screen by Janhvi Kapoor, rounding off his appreciation for the entire creative team behind the film.

The trailer, launched recently in Mumbai, has drawn significant attention both in India and internationally. The trailer has offered audiences their first detailed look at Ram Charan’s transformation from a simple village cricketer to the intense and commanding Peddi Pehlwan, a physical and emotional shift that has become one of the most talked-about aspects of the film’s early promotional campaign.

Peddi’s soundtrack, composed by AR Rahman, is already making its presence felt online. The track ‘Chikiri Chikiri‘ has crossed 200 million views on YouTube, while ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa‘ continues to gain traction with over 68 million views, reflecting the strength of the film’s musical identity ahead of its theatrical release.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment. The technical team includes cinematographer R. Rathnavelu and editor Navin Nooli.

Jio Studios, which previously distributed Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge, and Raja Shivaji for North Indian audiences, will handle the Hindi release of Peddi. The film premieres worldwide on June 3, 2026, followed by its full theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
