American singer-actor Nick Jonas has again captured attention on social media for a playful video that blends Indian culture with Bollywood nostalgia, while his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas reacts with amusement as one of her early film songs becomes a trend online.

Jonas posted an Instagram reel showing himself enjoying a classic desi breakfast — dosa at a hotel buffet in Singapore — while grooving to the song ‘Teri Dulhan Sajaoongi’ from the 2005 Bollywood film Barsaat. In the clip, the caption reads, “When they have dosa at the breakfast buffet…”, and Jonas added, “This song hits.” The lively moment paired with South Indian cuisine quickly drew fans’ attention.

The viral post sparked affectionate responses from online users. One commenter wrote, “India’s most lovable Jijaji,” while another observed, “You’re more Indian than most of us.” Others reacted in Hinglish, celebrating Jonas’ cheerful engagement with Indian food and music.

Chopra shared Jonas’ reel on her own Instagram Stories, adding a skull and laughing emoji and tagging her husband, signaling amusement and support.

The resurgence of ‘Teri Dulhan Sajaoongi’ on social platforms has also caught Chopra’s attention. The song, filmed for Barsaat — which starred Chopra alongside Bipasha Basu and Bobby Deol — has been used in numerous trending reels. Chopra reshared several of these on her Instagram Stories with captions such as “Barsaat is the new trend?” and “Seems like it,” while tagging her co-stars Basu and Deol. “Lol… babies,” she added in another post, sharing a clip from the original music video and expressing surprise and delight at the song’s renewed popularity.

Barsaat, directed by Suneel Darshan, marked Chopra’s Bollywood debut and was a box office success when it was released in 2005.
