Prince William has made a surprise appearance on Travis Kelce’s podcast – as the NFL player and Taylor Swift kick off rumoured wedding celebrations in New York City.

A glimpse of the episode, which is being released at 5pm today (Friday 3 July), shows the Prince of Wales appearing on Kelce’s podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother Jason.

The release of the episode comes as Kelce and his wife-to-be Swift are rumoured to be tying the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“Our guest today is the six-foot-three Prince from London, England,” Jason says in the teaser for the episode.

He continues: “That’s right, the President of the English Football Association, the Vice-Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of Cornwall, the Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, Earl of Chester and the Prince of Wales, please welcome his Royal Highness, Prince William!”

The exact plans for Kelce and Swift’s wedding have been kept firmly under wraps, but multiple A-listers have been spotted descending on New York in recent days and the pop star and the NFL player are reportedly tying the knot at the famous arena.

Rumours have been rife about what the pair could be planning for their wedding celebrations ever since they announced their engagement last summer.

They wrote at the time in an Instagram post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
