The 2026 World Cup final is upon us as Spain and Argentina battle it out for all the marbles on Sunday night.

Argentina, who can become just the third nation to win back-to-back World Cups after their success in 2022, came from behind to beat England 2-1 in their semi-final clash.
Lionel Messi was instrumental once again with the little magician, who is on course to win the World Cup Golden Boot, setting up both goals including a sensational cross for Lautaro Martinez’s 92nd-minute winner.

Spain, who got the better of France in their semi-final in a comfortable 2-0 victory, have won one World Cup with their last triumph coming in 2010.
Luis de la Fuente’s side won Euro 2024 and the European champions are now hoping to pull off consecutive major tournament victories.
They’ve done it before having won the 2008 Euros, 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euros but can Spain do it again?

Spain v Argentina predictions
Spain have been ticking over nicely all tournament and they completely nullified France in their semi-final clash to pull off a brilliant victory.
That being said, we simply can’t go against Messi. Argentina went all the way four years ago and their squad just knows what’s needed to get the job done.
