Sydney Sweeney‘s portrayal of an OnlyFans model in Euphoria has not gone down well with creators from the original platform. Now, porn actress Maitland Ward has slammed a scene in one of the episodes.

Maitland Ward criticizes Sydney Sweeney’s outfit in a scene in Euphoria Season 3. In one of the episodes, Sweeney’s Cassie, who is now an OnlyFans influencer, dresses like a baby with a pacifier and pigtails, wearing a bold dress while spreading out her legs.

“There’s all sorts of stuff that you can’t do,” Ward told TMZ. “The whole child-baby thing is so disgusting… You just can’t go into that whole underage thing like that,” the Boy Meets World star added.

Ward continued, “mean, you can do it to an extent if it’s very, very playful, like, you’re an adult being childlike or something. But just the way it was handled was so gross and it’s just disgusting and vile.” Moreover, the 49-year-old felt that such scenes are triggering to people with the wrong intentions. “You don’t want pedophilia anywhere near pornography.”

Ward also felt Cassie’s “crazy stunts” on the series, “is making fun of OnlyFans creators,” calling it “weird” and “creepy.” She added, “There’s so many creators who are really working hard to build their brands every day, and this is really disingenuous.”

Meanwhile, Maitland Ward is not the only porn star who found the portrayal of OnlyFans inauthentic in the show. Multiple creators from the website voiced their thoughts to Us Weekly.

“I feel like for a lot of people, whether they’re in the same situation as me or different situations, joining OnlyFans is more of a last resort,” said Alex Paige Moore. “It’s not that we’re throwing a tantrum or threatening our partners that we’re going to leave or demanding they give us more money,” she continued.

Taila Maddison shared, “There’s definitely a lot more to OnlyFans than just fulfilling kinks. I’d say that’s probably only 20–30% of what my subscribers want and what I do day to day.”
