Paramount+ has dropped a suspenseful first-look trailer for The Crow Girl season 2, which sees TV icons Eve Myles and Katherine Kelly return for another dark mystery.

We find DCI Jeanette Kilburn (Myles) investigating the deaths of young male asylum seekers, after a “chilling connection” is uncovered between two macabre discoveries.
The synopsis teases: “As Jeanette digs deeper, Dr Sophia Craven [Kelly] begins to suspect Victoria Burkeman [Clara Rugaard], her mysterious former patient, could be responsible.
“As Jeanette and Sophia’s relationship becomes increasingly complex and emotionally charged, the case places their trust and judgement under strain.”
As the new season progresses, Jeanette and Sophia will find themselves in a “disturbing web of historic abuse and buried truths” – but who will be exposed as the twisted perpetrator?

Paramount+ has revealed a launch date for The Crow Girl season 2, with all six episodes due to drop on Monday 20 July 2026.
The series is inspired by a Swedish novel of the same name by co-authors Jerker Eriksson and Håkan Sundquist, which were adapted for the screen by Milly Thomas (River City).
Addressing the major changes to the source material when season 1 launched, co-star Kelly told Radio Times: “I was told that it had been in the hands of other TV production companies and writers and they just hadn’t been able to do it.

“And I can understand why, because you read the book and you think, ‘yeah, you can’t put this on screen’. So Milly has done that brilliant thing, with the blessing of the authors, and made it into something else.
Kelly added: “But [she] has been faithful and true to the bottom line of it.”
