All episodes of new BBC drama Two Weeks in August are available to stream now on BBC iPlayer, with creator Catherine Shepherd taking us on a nightmare Greek holiday with a group of university friends.

While the episodes will be airing for some weeks yet on BBC One, now that they are all available to watch, some viewers may be wondering whether there will be further seasons, to explore more holidays with this group.
Well, while we don’t yet know the answer to that, two of the show’s cast members have expressed interest in a reunion, were a second season to be in the offing.
Speaking exclusively with Radio Times ahead of the show’s debut, Jacob star Hugh Skinner said: “I would love to do more if it was to do more.”
Meanwhile, Leila Farzad, who plays Nat, added: “Yes. I mean, that’s a Catherine question, really, isn’t it? I think we would all love to be reunited, because we all got on so well. But whether there’s more tales to tell with this gang, I don’t know. You’d have to put them somewhere very different, I think.”

Skinner added that Shepherd would have to “create new problems” for the characters, to which Farzad said: “Yes, there’s resolution at this point but they’d have to have the resolution fail and we start again with other problems. But I think we’d all love to spend time together again.”
Alongside Skinner and Farzad, Two Weeks in August also stars Jessica Raine, Damien Molony, Antonia Thomas and Nicholas Pinnock.
The series sees the group sent into disarray after an illicit kiss shakes things up, causing Raine’s character Zoe to start acting on her deepest desires.

The synopsis for the series says: “When they discover they are trapped on the island, and become faced with real life-or-death situations, the group soon turn on each other to find out who is to blame. Is Zoe responsible for the drama and destruction around her or, as heaven turns to hell, are bigger forces at play? We are in Greece after all, the land of the ancient Gods…”
