Are you ready for the trip of a lifetime? Well, Two Weeks in August will be just that, but perhaps not in the way you’d expect – or want.
The eight-part drama from writer Catherine Shepherd follows a group of university friends who reunite to go on a two-week holiday in Greece – one which takes an ugly turn after an illicit kiss takes place.
The series stars Jessica Raine as Zoe, who starts to act on her deepest desires while on the holiday, with consequences for them all. Meanwhile, Damien Molony plays her husband Dan, and the rest of the central group are played by Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Pinnock, Leila Farzad and Hugh Skinner.

Jessica Raine plays Zoe
Who is Zoe? Zoe is the polite organiser of her friendship group, who is married to Dan and has two children with him. Raine has called her “a woman on the cusp of breaking”.

Damien Molony plays Dan
Who is Dan? Dan is Zoe’s husband and father to her two children, who has been through a difficult time.

Antonia Thomas plays Jess
Who is Jess? Jess is Solomon’s younger wife, who is newer to the group. She is mother to one of his children and step-mother to the other, and Thomas has described her as “self-absorbed”.

Nicholas Pinnock plays Solomon
Who is Solomon? Solomon is Jess’s husband, who is struggling in his career as an actor.

Leila Farzad plays Nat
Who is Nat? Nat is one of the two single members of the group, who is obsessed with her work. She is very close with Jacob.

Who is Jacob? Jacob is a single member of the group who is particularly close with Nat. Will, a young man with whom he has a burgeoning relationship, shows up at the holiday unexpectedly, causing some issues for Jacob.
