Celtic continue preparations for their Scottish Premiership title defence by hosting Italian giants AC Milan on Saturday.

The new campaign north of the border kicks off on Friday 31 July, with the Hoops set to wait until the following Monday for their opener against Dundee.

Pre-season friendlies are about fitness and tactical tweaks rather than results, but some fans may be concerned that Martin O’Neill’s side are winless this summer – and were heavily beaten by Sporting earlier this month.

Saturday’s game against AC Milan, who were fifth in Serie A last season but boast a talent-packed squad, will be another stern test for Celtic in what is their final friendly before the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
