Wales host Ghana at the Cardiff City Stadium in an international friendly on Tuesday evening.
It could well be a difficult summer for the Red Wall, with Craig Bellamy’s side missing World Cup 2026 after suffering defeat to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-offs in March.
The hosts have welcomed experienced defenders Connor Roberts and Ben Davies back into their ranks as they start preparations for a new Nations League campaign in the autumn, which will see them take on Portugal, Denmark and Norway in Group A4.
Tuesday will be the first meeting between Wales and Ghana, who are in the Welsh capital to warm up for this summer’s World Cup, where they have been drawn alongside England in Group L.
The visitors are not short on attacking talent, with Man City’s Antoine Semenyo, Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams and Leicester City duo Abdul Fatawu and Jordan Ayew in their ranks.
