Next week is the aftermath of ‘The Night That Changes Everything’, the dramatic set of EastEnders instalments that will turn the Albert Square residents’ lives upside down.

After George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) mammoth decision to protect his family, the atmosphere remains frosty at No. 1. Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) has a lot of explaining to do about her deal with Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank), and son Harry (Elijah Holloway) fears for the impact it will have on their family.
Meanwhile, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) shuts off from the world amid her blood cancer diagnosis, determined to be by daughter Chelsea’s (Zaraah Abrahams) side during her own hour of need.
Elsewhere, as Vicki Fowler’s (Alice Haig) love triangle comes to an end, another rumbles on. Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) is caught kissing Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan), something which is likely to be exposed over a forthcoming Slater family meal.
Here’s everything happening in EastEnders between Monday 8 and Thursday 11 June.
4 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. George Knight and Nicola Mitchell are at loggerheads

Tensions are running high between George and Nicola, after the discovery that she’d made a financial deal with his racist adoptive father Eddie.
He’s desperate to release his anger, and heads to The Boxing Den to spar with Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple). Their friendly session soon turns violent when George zones out, and Mark is forced to defend himself.
A punch connects, and George is knocked unconscious.

Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) rushes over and explains that due to his brain injury, he shouldn’t have been fighting in the first place. When George awakes, he refuses treatment and is guided home by Phil, who explains everything to Nicola.
She tries to justify her actions with Eddie’s money, and Harry is concerned about what it might mean for his relationship if Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) finds out. He pushes his mum to tell her the truth before she learns it elsewhere.
What will Nicola do?
2. Denise Fox delays treatment as her condition worsens

Despite insistence from doctors that she be admitted to hospital to receive treatment for her acute myeloid leukaemia diagnosis, Denise wants to put on a brave face for Chelsea instead.
Her condition is rapidly worsening, and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is fearful of losing her forever.
He shares the doctors’ warnings with Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), and she urges him to do whatever it takes to get Denise on the ward and receiving treatment. Jack sits her down for the crucial conversation, but she remains firm on her decision.
3. Kat Moon discovers Oscar Branning and Josh Goodwin’s affair

Josh and Jasmine Fisher’s (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) 20th birthday is fast approaching, and Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) wants to ensure that the Slaters play a part in at least one of their celebrations.
She begins to plan a birthday dinner for Jasmine, while Oscar juggles spending time with both twins and trying to suppress his feelings towards Josh.
While spending time with the latter, Oscar discovers the circumstances around the death of their foster dad in a car crash – which only Jasmine witnessed – and decides to question her about it. This is something she’d rather evade, and slaps him across the face in response!

Later, Jasmine reluctantly agrees to the Slaters’ family dinner, on the condition that Josh is invited too.
Little does she realise, he’s met up with Oscar to provide a shoulder to cry on, the two end up kissing – and Kat has seen everything!
She confronts the lads about what she saw and threatens Oscar, telling him to steer clear of her family. She then confides in husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) about her discovery, and they decide to stay quiet for fears of it upending Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) day with Jasmine.

When Oscar declines her invitation to attend, Jasmine’s left saddened. Zoe intervenes and invites Josh, and insists that Oscar attend to.
This could quickly turn explosive!
