Dr Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) seems to soften in Emmerdale next week… at least for a few minutes.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is terrified that her secret could be exposed at Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) 21st birthday party, though soon has far bigger problems. In worrying scenes, she’s assaulted.
Elsewhere, Archie Breckle (Kai Assi) uses artificial intelligence technology to clone one former villager’s voice, and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) confronts husband Sam (James Hooten) about his “affair” with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy).
Plus, a worrying new storyline for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) kicks off, and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) attempts to make a breakthrough with Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn).
Here’s everything happening in Emmerdale between Sunday 7 and Friday 12 June.
5 Emmerdale spoilers for next week
1. Charity Dingle is assaulted amid her war with Dr Caitlin Todd

With Sarah’s 21st birthday looming, and the parentage of her baby on the brink of exposure, Charity is scrambling to find a way to meet Dr Todd’s demands before everything falls apart.
Consumed by guilt and turning increasingly to drink, she eventually reaches breaking point and challenges Todd head-on, daring her to reveal the explosive secret once and for all.
Surprisingly, she retreats. Faced with the reality of publicly wrecking Sarah’s future, she appears unable to go through with it.

In a rare moment of honesty, she attempts to explain her actions to Charity, admitting that she’s become fascinated by the chaos that seems to follow her. For a brief moment, a truce is called between them as Todd hints the secret will remain buried.
However, later that day, her darker instincts resurface and Charity finds herself at the centre of a shocking assault.
Is Todd responsible?
2. Archie Breckle clones Steph Miligan’s voice

While Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) is away in Canada, Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) steps in to help Caleb Miligan (William Ash) generate new business opportunities and quickly proves his worth by securing a promising client. Caleb is impressed, but Kerry Pollard (Laura Norton) can’t help feeling sidelined as her colleague’s stock continues to rise.
Her frustrations deepen when Caleb questions her commitment after she leaves work to collect Archie.
Soon afterwards, Caleb receives a call from daughter Steph, urgently requesting money. Trusting the situation, he hands Billy access to his bank account and asks him to transfer £5,000 towards a deposit on a London flat.

However, at the same time, Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) is chatting to Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and casually mentions that Steph is currently enjoying life in Thailand with a new boyfriend.
Was it really her on the phone?
At Farrers Barn, Archie is busy listening to an AI-generated version of Steph’s voice that he has created himself. When £5,000 suddenly appears in his account, the truth becomes impossible to ignore – Archie has masterminded the scam that duped Caleb.

The following day, Kerry receives a delivery of an expensive computer that Archie has purchased using the stolen cash.
Her suspicions begin to mount, and before long her worst fears are confirmed. How will she respond?
3. Kim Tate voices her concerns about Sam Dingle’s “affair”

Sam’s dance lessons are clearly paying off, but he continues keeping secrets from Kim Tate (Claire King) by lying about where he’s been spending his time.
Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is eager to spend more time with Laurel, although his enthusiasm only makes her increasingly uncomfortable. Matters become even more complicated when Kim spots Sam sneaking out of Laurel’s house and immediately assumes she’s uncovered proof of an affair.
Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is also unsettled after learning Laurel feels guilty. Kim confides her suspicions about Sam and Laurel to Lydia, though quickly regrets planting the seed of doubt.

As Ross struggles to accept Laurel’s decision to end their affair before emotions deepen further, Lydia finds herself increasingly persuaded by Kim’s theory. Determined to get answers, she decides to publicly confront her husband.
Lydia storms into the Woolpack and is met with a sight that seems to confirm every fear she’s been harbouring – Sam embracing Laurel. Convinced she’s witnessing proof of betrayal, she challenges him.
Is Laurel’s relationship with Ross about to be exposed?
4. Gabby Thomas takes a worrying turn

Gabby launches her healthy food range at The Hide Bistro and is delighted with the glowing reviews that are pouring in. Buoyed by the positive response, she takes a moment to celebrate her success.
However, once she’s alone, her attention turns to social media. What starts as innocent scrolling soon takes a troubling turn, as her growing fixation on healthy eating draws her towards content with a much more sinister edge.
5. Graham Foster attempts to steer Kyle Winchester onto the right path

Concerned about the growing distance between Kyle and Cain, Graham encourages the youngster to open up to his father.
He hopes to offer both reassurance and support, and presents Kyle with a treasured memento from his SAS days – an old watch.
