It’s official: A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is returning for season 2 – and the stakes are higher than ever for Pip.

“This time we are not dealing with somebody who is dead,” said star Emma Myers. “We are dealing with somebody who has gone missing, and Pip’s goal is to find him alive.
“There are more stakes, for sure. You can take your time on a dead person’s case, but with [Connor’s brother] Jamie missing, time is running out. She is working against the clock.”
Holly Jackson, author of the book series on which the show is based, also returns as co-writer for season 2 – and has revealed that while much of the original story remains intact, new elements have been introduced for the screen.
“One of the most fun parts is coming up with new perspectives that feel like they were there all along, in the background of the book, between the pages,” Jackson said.
“I think fans will appreciate those new twists, as well as all the preserved moments from the book — and even some moments from the first book that weren’t included in season 1, which we’ve been able to bring into this season for them.”
