Only Murders in the Building season 6 has expanded its cast, with Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker among the new additions.

The upcoming sixth season – filming on which is currently under way – will see Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) leave New York behind to investigate a new mystery across the pond in London.
Tennant and Whittaker have joined the series in recurring guest star roles, alongside Nicola Coughlan, Jim Broadbent, Richard Ayoade, Adrian Lukis and Kathryn Hunter.
Exact character details are being kept under wraps.
They join the previously announced new additions Jennifer Saunders, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Amar Chadha-Patel, Rhea Norwood, Matthew Beard, Sharon Horgan, Martin Freeman, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Jamie Demetriou, Anjana Vasan, Jane Horrocks, Derek Jacobi and Lesley Nicol.

Tennant is best known for his portrayal of the Tenth Doctor and the Fourteenth Doctor on Doctor Who.
He’s currently starring as Tony Baddingham in Disney+ series Rivals, while other recent credits include ITV’s phone-hacking drama The Hack and Netflix’s adaptation of Richard Osman’s novel The Thursday Murder Club.

Whittaker appeared as the first female version of the ever-changing Time Lord in Doctor Who, taking over from Peter Capaldi in 2018.
More recent credits include Netflix’s Office Romance, ITV’s Frauds and Netflix’s Toxic Town.
Plot details for Only Murders in the Building season 6 are yet to be announced, but the upcoming instalment is expected to revolve around the group’s trip to London as well as the death of a long-standing character at the end of season 5… which we won’t spoil if you’re not caught up yet.
Only Murders in the Building season 6 is coming soon to Disney+.
