Peacock‘s new releases this week include Nosferatu, a brooding vampire drama featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, along with more exciting titles.
Coming to Peacock on April 21, Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu (2024) revives the 1922 silent classic as a brooding gothic tale. Lily-Rose Depp stars as Ellen Hutter, whose terrifying psychic link to Count Orlok (Bill Skarsgård) draws the ancient vampire into 19th-century Germany, unleashing horror in his wake. The film unearths themes of obsession, dread, and forbidden longing as Orlok becomes consumed by Ellen.
Beyond the leads, Nosferatu is rounded out by a strong supporting cast. Nicholas Hoult plays Thomas Hutter, Ellen’s husband, whose trip to Transylvania sparks catastrophe. Willem Dafoe appears as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz. Meanwhile, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Emma Corrin anchor the human drama as Friedrich and Anna Harding. Simon McBurney completes the ensemble as Herr Knock.
For viewers who don’t enjoy dark themes, Ordinary Angels (2024) is arriving on Peacock on the same date. Based on true events from 1994, this heartfelt, uplifting drama centers on Sharon Stevens (Hilary Swank), a struggling hairdresser searching for purpose. Her life changes when she commits to helping Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson), a widowed father fighting to save his critically ill daughter. She rallies their Kentucky town to fund a liver transplant for little Michelle Schmitt during a brutal snowstorm.
Another new release on Peacock this week is Happy’s Place Season 2 finale, premiering April 25, 2026. Season 2 of the beloved sitcom follows Bobbie (Reba McEntire) and Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) as they co-manage their Tennessee bar. Storylines focus on their evolving bond, Bobbie’s romance with Emmett (Rex Linn), and a shocking revelation Emmett has about Isabella. The season leans into comedy, with guests including Christopher Lloyd and Cheri Oteri.
