Netflix is gearing up to add Michael B. Jordan’s highly acclaimed sports trilogy to its streaming library next month. It is a sequel series to Sylvester Stallone’s iconic six-film Rocky saga, which spanned three decades.

Creed 1, 2, and 3 are coming to Netflix next month
Netflix subscribers will be able to stream Michael B. Jordan’s three sports films — Creed, Creed II, and Creed III — on the platform from Monday, June 1, 2026.
The trilogy is a spin-off series of the Rocky franchise and centers on Adonis “Donnie” Creed, the illegitimate son of the late boxer Apollo Creed, as he pursues a professional boxing career.
In the original film, Donnie seeks out former boxer Rocky Balboa in Philadelphia and convinces him to become his trainer. While Donnie prepares to fight “Pretty” Ricky Conlan, Rocky struggles with some serious health issues.
Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, Creed premiered in theaters on November 25, 2015. It received an overwhelmingly positive response from both critics and audiences alike. On Rotten Tomatoes, it boasts a critics’ score of 95% and a user score of 89%. Made on a reported $35 million budget, it went on to earn $174.1 million worldwide.
The success of the first film led to a sequel in 2018. Moreover, Coogler was reportedly set to return to helm the sequel. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the role moved to Stallone before it ultimately landed with Steven Caple Jr.
Creed II follows Donnie, now a rising boxing star, as he faces Viktor Drago. Viktor is the son of Ivan Drago, the boxer who killed Apollo Creed, making the fight even more personal for Donnie. The film debuted in theaters on November 21, 2018, and received favorable yet lower ratings than its predecessor. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has an impressive 83% critics’ score and a close 81% user score. At the box office, it made $214.2 million from global markets.
Subsequently, Michael B. Jordan made his directorial debut with Creed III. The film takes place a few years after the second part, where Donnie is now retired from the sport. However, when an old friend, Damian, resurfaces, he claims that Donnie stole a career he believes should have been his. As tensions escalate, Donnie goes back into the ring.
The film arrived in theaters on March 3, 2023, and received high praise from nearly everyone. Furthermore, on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a critics’ score of 89% and a user score of 95%. By grossing $276.1 million globally, Creed III became the highest-grossing entry in the trilogy.
A fourth Creed film and a spin-off series are reportedly in the works.
