All four seasons of a popular British legal drama, starring an MCU actor, will soon be available to stream on Hulu. The series follows the complicated personal and professional lives of a family of high-powered divorce lawyers in London.

The Split begins streaming on Hulu in May
The Split Seasons 1-4 will become available to stream on Hulu from Monday, May 11, 2026, per the steamer’s schedule. It stars Chukwudi Iwuji, who is known for his role as The High Evolutionary in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.
Abi Morgan (The Hour, The Iron Lady, and Shame) developed the show for BBC One, which broadcast it in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, the show aired on Sundance TV and BBC America in the United States.
The Split’s cast features Iwuji as Alexander “Zander” Hale, Nicola Walker as Hannah, Stephen Mangan as Nathan, Fiona Button as Rose, Annabel Scholey as Nina, Deborah Findlay as Ruth, and Barry Atsma as Christie, among others.
Season 1 of The Split premiered on May 23, 2018, with new episodes arriving weekly. The subsequent seasons arrived every two years. While the first three seasons had six episodes each, Season 4 had only two. The series finale, titled “Barcelona: Part 2,” aired on December 30, 2024. Overall, the series includes just 20 episodes.
Both critics and viewers highly praised the show for its gripping story and incredibly powerful performances by its cast. It currently has a 76% Tomatometer and a 90% Popcornmeter on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, Metacritic reports a weighted average critic score of 72 and a user score of 7.2.
The series also spawned a spin-off, The Split Up, which is currently in development. The show is set in Manchester and will feature a British-Asian family. It stars The Umbrella Academy’s Ritu Arya in the lead.
