Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the trailer for The End of Oak Street, an upcoming sci-fi thriller that brings together Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor in a story centered on survival, family and the unknown. Scheduled for release in August 2026, the film will arrive in cinemas and IMAX across India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into a world turned upside down after a mysterious cosmic event uproots an ordinary suburban neighbourhood and transports it to an unfamiliar and seemingly dangerous location. At the centre of the story is the Platt family, who must rely on one another as they struggle to understand their new reality and find a way to survive.

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor headline the cast, with Maisy Stella and Christian Convery playing key roles. The footage hints at a mix of emotional family drama, suspense and large-scale science-fiction elements, setting the stage for a mystery-driven cinematic experience.

The End of Oak Street is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Robert Mitchell, known for crafting atmospheric and unconventional narratives. The project is backed by a strong production team that includes J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper. Executive producers on the film are Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker.

Behind the scenes, the film features an accomplished technical crew. Michael Gioulakis serves as the director of photography, while Maya Shimoguchi handles production design. Editing duties have been undertaken by John Axelrad, with Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino creating the film’s score. Costume design is by Erin Benach.
