Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan magic has struck gold at the box office in India. After collecting Rs 21 crore on Saturday, Bhooth Bangla is seeing another surge in business on Sunday. According to early estimates, the Akshay Kumar led horror comedy is looking to collect in the range of Rs. 25 crore to Rs 26 crore on the third day taking total collections to Rs. 63 crore.
The weekend trend has sealed its entry into the Rs 100 crore club in India. The film will be looking to hold moderately on Monday, and head further to benefit from the month-long open theatrical run at the box office.
Bhooth Bangla has performed well all across the board – be it single screens or multiplexes, and the weekend trajectory ensures that the film will keep on getting an audience on a weekend to weekend basis.
The costs are limited, which means that the present business projections will ensure a strong return on investment.
