The Claudia Winkleman Show will not be returning for a second outing on BBC One, as the presenter admitted she was “too nervous to enjoy it”.

The chat show launched earlier this year following Winkleman’s departure from Strictly Come Dancing, and featured a number of famous guests including Jeff Goldbum, Jamie Dornan and Jennifer Saunders.
Winkleman has now confirmed it won’t be coming back, saying in a statement (via Daily Mail): “Sometimes you have to try something to see how it fits, and I realised I was just too nervous to enjoy it.
“Maybe one day I will give it another try, but for now I already have the best jobs in the world and absolutely love the shows I’m doing.
“I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for giving me the opportunity, to the guests who agreed to come and chat to me, and the production team who were simply excellent.”

Ed Havard, director of entertainment at the BBC, added: “Claudia’s warmth and quick wit made The Claudia Winkleman Show an absolute joy.
“Whilst we loved the show, we fully respect her decision and would like to thank Claudia and the brilliant team at So Television for bringing the series to screen on the BBC.
“As the host of the country’s most-watched show, Claudia will be back on the BBC very soon when The Celebrity Traitors returns later this year, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for the new band of celebs.”
As mentioned by Havard, Winkleman will indeed be back on screens as the The Celebrity Traitors returns for a second season later this year.
Back in May, the BBC confirmed which famous faces would be taking part in the treacherous game – and it’s just as stacked as before.

Among the acting talent are EastEnders icon Ross Kemp and Industry star Myha’la.
Fellow actors heading to the Scottish Highlands include Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us), Julie Hesmondhalgh (Coronation Street), Michael Sheen (Good Omens), Richard E Grant (Withnail and I, Nuremberg), Sebastian Croft (Game of Thrones) and Sharon Rooney (Barbie).
The series will also feature a variety of comedians, with duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan heading to Ardross Castle, where they will be joined by Miranda Hart, James Acaster, Joe Lycett and Joanne McNally.
Maya Jama, Amol Rajan, Hannah Fry, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, James Blunt, Jerry Hall and King Kenny round out the famous faces in the cast.
As ever, Winkleman will return to host the hit show, as all 21 celebs battle it out to win a share of a £100,000 cash prize for their chosen charity.
