Settle in for a smorgasbord of sports across the next week or so as Glasgow hosts the Commonwealth Games 2026.

This summer’s event, which begins with the opening ceremony on Thursday 23 July and runs until Sunday 2 August, will feel a bit different. It has a scaled-back schedule, with fewer athletes, events, sports and venues than four years ago, and is no longer on the BBC.
TNT Sports is the new home of coverage of the Games, with live coverage of more than 600 hours of events across TNT Sports channels and HBO Max, while 5 is offering daily free-to-air highlights and talkSPORT is the new radio partner.
But the spirit of the Commonwealth Games remains – and there is a decorated broadcast line-up ready to lead you through every twist and turn.
Radio Times brings you the cast of Commonwealth Games 2026 presenters and commentators working across TNT Sports, 5 and talkSPORT.
