Actor Dulquer Salmaan has officially wrapped up the shoot of his much-anticipated Malayalam action thriller I’m Game, marking the end of an extensive and demanding schedule that spanned 156 days. The actor took to social media to commemorate the milestone, sharing a heartfelt note along with a group video featuring the entire team.

Reflecting on the journey, Dulquer expressed both pride and gratitude for the collective effort that went into the film. He wrote, “And it’s a filming Wrap on #ImGame. A grand total of 156 days of hard work and effort. It has been the most demanding yet fulfilling experience. And what a team we are! Across every department everyone’s given their best and we’ve grown into a large family with one unified goal over the past 11 months.”

He further built anticipation around the film’s release, adding, “We can’t wait to begin sharing all things I’m Game with all of you and finally the film this Onam in cinemas across the world.” The confirmation of a global Onam release has only heightened excitement among fans eagerly awaiting Dulquer’s return to Malayalam cinema.

I’m Game, which was initially announced under the working title DQ40 in March 2025, marks Dulquer Salmaan’s comeback to Malayalam films following his successful ventures in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, the film is touted as a high-octane mass entertainer set against the backdrop of cricket, blending sports drama with action-thriller elements.

The project also brings together a strong ensemble cast, including Kathir, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Aadam, Parth Tiwari, and Kayadu Lohar. With such a diverse lineup, the film promises a mix of intense performances and gripping storytelling.

Backed by Dulquer’s own banner Wayfarer Films in collaboration with producer Jom Varghese, the film boasts a technically accomplished crew. The screenplay has been penned by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker, while music is composed by Jakes Bejoy. Cinematography is handled by Jimshi Khalid, with editing by Chaman Chakko.

With filming now complete, the team is expected to shift focus to post-production and promotional activities in the coming months. Given the scale of the project and the emotional investment reflected in Dulquer’s note, I’m Game is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Malayalam releases of the year.
