Both Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) made discoveries in today’s EastEnders.

For the last month, Denise has been confined to a hospital side ward while she received intensive chemotherapy following an aggressive blood cancer diagnosis.
She’d delayed the treatment to support her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams), whose son Jordan (Jahsaiah Williams) had been badly injured in a collision with Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) car.
Due to the risk of infection, Denise was effectively cut off from the outside world and apart from the occasional visitor, only had fellow patient Teyana (Denise Pitter) to communicate with. Sister Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) had purposely avoided visiting, as she didn’t want to divulge one major secret.
While Dee was undergoing treatment, Jordan’s great grandmother – a relation from his murderous father Gray Atkins’s (Toby-Alexander Smith) side of the family – had made contact.

The woman, Sheila (Sheila Ruskin), had offered financial support to Chelsea to pay for his rehabilitation. Little do the Fox family know, she’s still in touch with Gray and is now giving him photographs and videos of his estranged son.
Chelsea knew that it would be a huge risk if her folks found out about Sheila, though it didn’t take long for a number of them – including Denise’s partner Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) – to find out.
Today, Denise felt lost. Her responsibilities in the household had been consumed by the rest of the family, and Kim made it clear that she shouldn’t be working while on a chemotherapy break.
None of them know that the chemo hasn’t worked as expected, and that when she returns to the hospital, she’ll have to undergo a different course of medication.
In emotional scenes, she sat down with ex-boyfriend Ravi, and the two discussed their recent troubles. Jack noticed them chatting and was clearly jealous, forcing Denise to head back to the wards to try to speak to Teyana.
Unfortunately, a porter revealed that she’d suddenly taken ill and had passed away that afternoon. Denise was devastated, as Teyana was the only one who truly understood what she was going through.

Returning to Albert Square, Libby Fox (Belinda Owusu) attempted to support her mum, but was forced to explain who Sheila was when she was spotted chatting to Chelsea outside of The Queen Vic.
What will Denise do?
Elsewhere, Ravi continued to play detective – determined to find out who his ex-girlfriend Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) was sleeping with.
He has no idea that Max Branning (Jake Wood) is the mystery man, and even asked him if he had any idea who she was seeing. Max accidentally dropped Priya’s flat key on the floor, but fortunately for him, Ravi was none the wiser.

Still wanting to win her back, Ravi has vowed to find her new fella and kill him!
Later, he quizzed both Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) on their relationships with Priya, and clearly wasn’t satisfied with the latter’s explanation.
Ravi followed Mark to Holland Road, and watched him arranging another dodgy car sale.
What will Ravi do with this information?
