A while back, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) had issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh for allegedly walking out of Excel Entertainment’s Don 3. The directive was withdrawn later after the intervention of other industry groups and a legal notice by the actor. The issue brought in various reactions from prominent people from the film industry.

Now, producer Prerna Arora has shared her take on the issue after she was asked about it during an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama. “I am on Ranveer Singh’s side,” she said. When asked if she would like to elaborate on it, she said, “If I go back to reading what Kangana Ranaut said, I feel I will stick to it. I really back that statement of hers. I am sure you read what she said.” Kangana had said that once you become famous, you will have your share of enemies and obstacles.
Elaborating on it, Arora said, “I just feel his success is something that has gotten onto a lot of people’s nerves. Of course, I don’t know what has happened internally and I am no one to comment on anybody’s business but overall I felt there was too much happening over Ranveer. People should celebrate his success at this point, rather than trying to say negative things about him. These things can be sorted out internally rather than cornering somebody for no reason.”
The producer added, “Ranveer was a superstar when he arrived and he is a superstar right now. He has proven himself to another level. He should be given credit for his success. This is not the time to do this.”
