“This isn’t about revenge. It’s about preventing another war.” Here we go Star Wars fans! The wait’s nearly over. Disney has revealed the final official trailer for their big summer Star Wars adventure movie titled The Mandalorian and Grogu – hitting theaters in just about a month from now. Jon Favreau directs this epic new big screen Star Wars movie – the first time Mando and his little “Baby Yoda” pal Grogu will be taking on bad guys while up on the silver screen worldwide. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu (as himself). This clan of two is ready for ANY fight! Starring Pedro Pascal back again as Mando, also featuring Sigourney Weaver and the voices of Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt and Martin Scorsese, too. With more music composed by Ludwig Göransson – returning to score the franchise once more. After all the trailers for this so far, I have to admit I’m actually pretty excited to watch – it looks like an exciting flick, with tons of new aliens & Star Wars characters galore.

You can watch the first trailer for Favreau’s Mandalorian & Grogu right here or the second official trailer.
We see Grogu with his new Anzellan friends and using a tiny telescope as he works alongside Din Djarin. The Mandalorian’s Zeb Orrelios is back, featured in poster art that also includes Sigourney Weaver’s new character and a pair of Hutts. From toppling Imperial remnant AT-ATs to venturing into a gladiator fight where the creatures from Dejarik have become larger than life, and an impressive Hutt can be glimpsed in silhouette, the Mandalorian and Grogu are on a course for action and adventure. The Mandalorian and Grogu is directed by acclaimed American actor / writer / producer / filmmaker Jon Favreau, director of the movies Made, Elf, Zathura: A Space Adventure, Iron Man 1 & 2, Cowboys & Aliens, Chef, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King previously; creator of “The Mandalorian” series & director of “The Chef Show”. The screenplay is again written by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni; based on “Star Wars” created by George Lucas. Produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, and Ian Bryce. Disney will debut Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Grogu movie in theaters worldwide on May 22nd, 2026 coming soon this summer.
