She joined the line-up in 2017 but after nine years on the programme, it was announced that Nadiya would not be returning for the 2026 season.
After starting dancing aged 4, Nadiya went on to win several national dance championships and was even declared the World Champion in 10 Dance (a competition judging 10 styles of ballroom and latin) in 2014 and 2015.
An insider claimed: “Nadiya has always been on the radar but has been unable to take part because of her commitment to Strictly. Now she’s a free agent, the offers have been coming in thick and fast.
“She’s had a number of chats about doing the jungle. Bosses are so impressed with her, it’s even been suggested she turns down other shows.”

A source claimed: “He’s always been adamant the jungle isn’t for him. When bosses came knocking this year, he saw it in a different light. He’s recently retired and is looking for a new challenge.”
