After an impressive showcase at the Marché Du Film during the Cannes Film Festival, Balan the Boy has left quite an impact. The screening was met with applause from audiences present, marking a memorable moment for the film on the global stage. KVN Productions and Thespian Films has now joined hands with Zee Music Company for the music rights, adding another feather to their cap. Balan The Boy is all set to release theatrically on June 19, 2026.

Directed by Chidambaram and written by Jithu Madhavan, Balan The Boy is expected to be a deeply human and emotionally resonant cinematic experience rooted in themes of identity, belonging, and emotional survival. With the film bringing together two acclaimed storytellers known for their distinctive narrative voices, anticipation continues to build among audiences.
