Love Island 2026 couple Sean Fitzgerald and Lola Deal have lifted the lid on Priya and Aidan’s romance, which has recently been called into question by other Islanders over whether it’s truly genuine.

Before Casa Amor, Priya and Aidan were in what appeared to be a friendship couple and they both chose to recouple and bring someone back to the main villa. Despite trying to form a connection with Jordon and Martha respectively, the pair found themselves drawn to one another and Aidan then coupled up with Priya at the next recoupling.
This came as quite the shock to Martha, who noted that Aidan didn’t mention he had a romantic connection with Priya. Since then, Priya and Aidan have tried to work on their connection but their plans were thwarted slightly by the arrival of bombshells Ethan and Elicia, yet once again Priya and Aidan found their way back to each other.
Their brewing romance caused drama in the villa when Martha told Julia and Elicia that when she previously spoke to Aidan about Priya, he laughed off their relationship, telling her they were “in a friendship couple”.

So, are Priya and Aidan the real deal? The question was posed to former Islanders Sean and Lola who were in agreement that Priya and Aidan are a good match.
“I definitely do,” Sean told Radio Times. “Because even I think a week before we went to Casa, I was in the kitchen with them, and they were just all over each other, like hugging. You know when friends flirt and they know it’s there, but they just don’t go for it or something. So they’re definitely really deal.”
Lola added: “Yeah, we like Praidan.”
Despite their support for Priya and Aidan, there is another couple Sean and Lola are hoping will win. The couple revealed they are rooting for Yasmin and Tommy, who recently made things exclusive.
“Just because they’re the ones that remind us of ourselves,” Sean explained. “They just came in, found each other. But obviously, if they stay smooth sailing, they probably won’t win it.”
