Mexico v England team news
Declan Rice has eased fears over an injury but England are once again sweating on the fitness of right-back options Reece James and Jarell Quansah, who both missed the DR Congo game.
James is nursing a hamstring issue, though reports suggest he is hoping to be fit for Monday, while Quansah hurt his ankle in the 2-0 victory over Panama and Tuchel has suggested he is making good progress.
Even so, it would be no surprise to see Tuchel keep his backline the same at the Azteca.
Anthony Gordon may get the nod over Marcus Rashford on the left after an impressive impact off the bench in the round of 32.
Mexico v England predicted line-ups
Mexico: Rangel; Sanchez, Montes, Vasquez, Gallardo; Mora, Lira, Romo; Alvarado, Jimenez, Quinones
England: Pickford; Spence, Konsa, Guehi, O’Reilly; Rice, Anderson; Madueke, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane
