“This is your opportunity to really show people what you’re capable of!” And here we go! Finally it’s time! Ketchup Entertainment has debuted the first official trailer for the Coyote vs. Acme movie, an animation + live-action hybrid meta comedy event from Warner Bros Animation. Unfortunately WB (*Acme) decided to cancel the project, writing it off as a tax loss, but after a very vocal public campaign the movie was bought and revived by Ketchup Ent. Coyote vs. Acme is now hitting theaters nationwide in late August this summer, a chance for the Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote, and friends to shine on the big screen. After Acme products fail him one too many times in his dogged pursuit of the Roadrunner, Mr. Wile E. Coyote decides to hire a billboard lawyer to sue the Acme Corporation. Starring Will Forte as Kevin Avery, Wile E. Coyote’s lawyer, with John Cena, Lana Condor, P.J. Byrne, Tone Bell, Martha Kelly, and Luis Guzmán. Plus tons of other Looney Tunes characters including Tweety, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Foghorn Leghorn, and more. This looks like a blast! I’m so glad it’s finally being released. Cannot wait to go watch this in theaters.
Here’s the first official trailer (+ poster) for Dave Green’s Coyote vs. Acme movie, direct from YouTube:

After every last product made by the Acme Corporation has backfired on Wile E. Coyote in his pursuit of the Road Runner, down-and-out human billboard attorney Kevin Avery (starring Will Forte) is hired to represent Coyote in a lawsuit against Acme. A growing friendship between Coyote and Kevin motivates their determination to win the court case, which also pits them against Buddy Crane (John Cena), the intimidating boss of Kevin’s former law firm, who now represents Acme. Coyote vs. Acme is directed by genre filmmaker Dave Green, director of the films Earth to Echo and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows previously. The screenplay is written by Samy Burch; from a screen story by James Gunn & Jeremy Slater and Samy Burch. Based on the “Coyote v. Acme” magazine article by Ian Frazier. Produced by James Gunn and Chris DeFaria. Made by Warner Bros Animation. Ketchup Ent. debuts Green’s Coyote vs. Acme movie in theaters nationwide starting August 28th, 2026 later in the summer. How does that look?
