“If we want anything to change, we need what the Benders have… Power.” Paramount+ finally revealed the full official trailer for their animated spin-off sequel movie titled Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender. This is basically a continuation of the story from the original series, bringing the gang of 5 back for another adventure. The story follows Team Avatar as they discover Tagah– a surviving airbender – and join him in searching for an airbending staff to bring back the Air Nomads. Based on the beloved hit series created by Michael Dante DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko –they also produced this movie. With the help of his friends, Aang embarks on a quest before the staff falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve in the past. Starring the voices of Eric Nam as Aang, Dave Bautista as Tagah, Jessica Matten as Katara, Román Zaragoza as Sokka, Steven Yeun as Fire Lord Zuko, Dionne Quan as Toph, Taika Waititi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Ronny Chieng, Ken Jeong, Dee Bradley Baker, Freida Pinto, and Ke Huy Quan as Avatar Xian. This was originally supposed to be released in theaters in the fall, but Paramount pulled it to send streaming instead – now opening in July. This resulted in the entire movie being leaked online. Fans have been excited about it anyway, because it takes things all the way back to the original series while Netflix continues with their live-action version. Have a look below.
