Prime Video has officially set the Ride or Die release date, revealing when the upcoming comedy series starring Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer is set to release on the platform.

When is the Ride or Die Release date?
Ride or Die is set to release on July 15, 2026, with all eight episodes debuting on Prime Video. The series is created by Tessa Coates, with Matt Miller acting as showrunner. Peyton Reed directs the comedy series.
“Ride or Die follows best friends Debbie Claybourne (Octavia Spencer) and Judith Burton (Hannah Waddingham) who thought they knew everything about each other, except Judith turns out to be an international assassin. When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together. It’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels.”
Alongside Waddingham and Spencer, the series also stars Bill Nighy, Ed Skrein, Sylvia Hoeks, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, and Jacky Ido.
Waddingham is best known for her role in the hit Apple TV series Ted Lasso, as well as the HBO series Game of Thrones, but has also starred in a litany of other high-profile shows. Spencer is an Oscar-winning actress best known for a number of roles, including projects like The Help, Fruitvale Station, Mom, The Shape of Water, Hidden Figures, Ma, and more.
The show is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Amazon MGM Studios as well as Andy and Barbara Muschietti’s Double Dream and Octavia Spencer’s Orit Entertainment. Coates, Miller, and Reed executive produce alongside Octavia Spencer for Orit Entertainment, Hannah Waddingham, Brian Clisham, and Stephanie Kluft are also executive producers, as are Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Irene Yeung for Double Dream.
