This week (May 11–17, 2026) on Hulu, the latest season of Ryan Reynolds’ acclaimed docuseries joins a slate of fresh releases.
Premiering on May 14, 2026, Welcome to Wrexham returns this week for Season 5 with a two-episode debut on Hulu. Across eight episodes, the new season follows the club’s EFL Championship run and their bid for the Premier League following three consecutive promotions.
Also premiering on Hulu this week, on May 15, 2026, is Lisa Ann Walter’s It Was An Accident, the first stand-up special from Abbott Elementary actress Lisa Ann Walter. Recorded live in Philadelphia, the raw, hour-long set dives into her comedy about being a “grown-ass woman” in today’s world.
Meanwhile, Rivals arrives on Hulu the same day with a three-episode Season 2 premiere. Adapted from Jilly Cooper’s bestselling 1988 “bonkbuster” novel, the 2024 series is a high-stakes, scandal-fueled drama set in the cutthroat world of 1980s independent television in England. It follows the explosive feud between two power players and the scandalous affairs of Rutshire’s social set.
Additionally, this week’s Hulu releases include The Split: Complete Series, which will be available on the platform starting May 11, 2026. The BBC drama follows the Defoes, a family of elite London divorce lawyers juggling high-stakes cases and their own messy personal lives.
At the center is Hannah Stern, played by Nicola Walker, as she confronts a failing marriage and her estranged father’s sudden return. The series wrapped with its third season and Barcelona specials, tracking the Defoe women through professional conflicts and personal upheaval.
