The star-studded guest line-up for the final week of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has finally been revealed. The acclaimed late-night talk show only has four episodes left before officially wrapping up its 11-season run. This comes nearly a year after CBS canceled the long-running late-night talk show in what the network described as “purely a financial decision.”

“Stephen Colbert brings his signature satire and comedy to late night, where he talks with an eclectic mix of guests about what is new and relevant in the world,” reads the show’s logline.
Who is joining Stephen Colbert’s final The Late Show episode?
According to THR, Colbert’s fellow late-night talk show host Jon Stewart and acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg are set to appear in the final week of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Rock legends David Byrne and Bruce Springsteen are also set to perform. Besides them, the creative team is also teasing surprise appearances from several special guests.

- Monday, May 18: The Worst of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (not a clip show!)
- Tuesday, May 19: Jon Stewart, Steven Spielberg, special performance by David Byrne and Stephen Colbert
- Wednesday, May 20: Stephen takes the “Colbert Questionert” featuring special guests, and a performance by Bruce Springsteen
- Thursday, May 21: The Late Show series finale
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert first aired on September 8, 2015, when the acclaimed host officially took over the CBS franchise from David Letterman. Each episode has been taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Besides hosting, Colberg also serves as an executive producer and writer. During the show’s run, it has won two Emmy Awards out of 33 nominations, including Outstanding Talk Series.
