For the first time, in her own words, Tulisa Contostavlos will be reflecting on her journey from the heights of fame in the 2010s to setbacks and scrutiny that has shaped her in a brand new documentary for Paramount+.

Tulisa: The Reckoning will chart Tulisa’s rise from N-Dubz, The X Factor and the intense media scrutiny that followed including the infamous ‘Fake Sheikh’.

The synopsis reads: “This isn’t just a story of survival, it’s a reckoning. After years of reflection, Tulisa is ready to confront and change the system that once brought her down.”

Alongside her personal story, the series will also follow Tulisa’s campaign for press reform and stronger media regulation.

Her campaign is set to launch with a Hacked Off rally on Wednesday 24 June at Central Hall Westminster, which the organisation says will bring together fellow victims of press misconduct and civil society leaders to call for change.

Speaking about the series, Tulisa said: “For years, so much has been said about me, but not always by me. This series is about taking back control of my story and speaking openly about everything I’ve been through, not just for myself, but for anyone who’s had similar experiences in the media spotlight.”

The three-part series will record and air in 2026 on Paramount+ and is being produced by Dorothy Street Pictures.

Dorothy Street Pictures is the production company behind documentary hits including Pamela A Love Story, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, Raising Chelsea Jamie & Sophie’s Next Chapter and Victoria Beckham.
