Step inside the blood-soaked terror of Club Juke, as the vampire phenomenon “Sinners” joins Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts.

There are haunted houses, and then there are horror worlds you want to step inside, even when every survival instinct tells you not to.
Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights has built its reputation on turning beloved horror properties into fully immersive nightmares, the kind where fans don’t just watch the terror unfold; they walk straight into it. This year, one of the most exciting new additions to the lineup is Sinners, Ryan Coogler’s acclaimed vampire sensation that turned a Mississippi Delta juke joint into one of horror’s most unforgettable battlegrounds.
Following its massive box office success and major awards-season recognition, SINNERS is officially joining the Halloween Horror Nights lineup at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The new haunted house opens Friday, August 28, at Universal Orlando and Thursday, September 3, at Universal Studios Hollywood.
For horror fans, this feels like a particularly inspired fit. Sinners is so much more than a vampire movie. It’s a film soaked in atmosphere, music, history, blood, grief, rage, and communal survival. It takes the seductive mythology of the vampire and roots it in something more meaningful. It masterfully builds dread more than a bloodsucking threat. Instead, it chills with its pitch-perfect exploration of what happens when joy, culture, and safety are violently invaded.
That makes Club Juke the perfect setting for Halloween Horror Nights.

According to Universal, the new house will transport guests back to the film’s central gathering place, where celebration gives way to panic as red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert, and Joan descend with an appetite that is anything but polite.
Fans can expect to encounter familiar characters from the film, including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, Cornbread, and the twin brothers Smoke and Stack, as they attempt to survive a night that only ends when the sun comes up.
And that is exactly the kind of pressure-cooker horror we want from HHN.
The best Halloween Horror Nights houses understand that great horror isn’t just about recognizable monsters popping out from behind a wall. It’s about being dropped into a world with its own rhythm, rules, texture, and terror. Given HHN’s impressive track record, expect the Sinners house to capture that terrifying feeling that something ancient and hungry has slipped into the room, only everyone realizes it a second too late.
Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights will run for a record 42 nights this year, featuring eight haunted houses, the Terror Tram, multiple scare zones, and more. Universal Orlando’s event returns for its milestone 35th year, running 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1, with 10 all-new haunted houses, live entertainment, scare zones, street experiences, and a few promised surprises.
Tickets and select event upgrades are already on sale for both coasts, including frequent fear options, Express access, R.I.P. Tours, and special event packages. Universal Orlando will also bring back Premium Scream Night for two dates: August 27 and October 19.
Additional house announcements are still to come, and I’d love to hear your predictions and what you’ve got your fingers crossed for. Still, Sinners already feels like one of the year’s most exciting reveals.
A great Halloween Horror Nights house should make you feel thrilled to enter and relieved to escape. I suspectClub Juke is going to do both.
