All eyes will be on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs attempt to avoid relegation from the Premier League when they host Everton on a dramatic final day of the season on Sunday.
Tottenham need to beat the Toffees to guarantee their place in next term’s top flight, although a point should be enough to help them avoid a sticky situation thanks to their superior goal difference over relegation rivals West Ham.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side could have put any final-day nail-biting to one side by beating Chelsea on Tuesday, but they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge – their first loss since the former Brighton boss’ maiden game in charge a month ago.
A disappointing end to the season has kiboshed Everton’s hopes of European qualification.
The Toffees are winless in their last six outings and the irony is unlikely to be lost on West Ham fans that they need former boss David Moyes to do them a favour.
