Soccer Aid is fast approaching, having been shifted earlier in the calendar in 2026.
The annual UNICEF charity fundraiser has become a regular fixture of the British sporting summer and usually takes place in the middle of June but there has been a shake-up this year to ensure it doesn’t clash with World Cup 2026.
Though it’s coming earlier than usual, fans can still expect all the usual thrills and spills as a mix of celebrities and former footballers take to the pitch at the London Stadium.
The England and the World XI Soccer Aid line-ups have been revealed. Wayne Rooney, Joe Marler, and Jill Scott are among those pulling on the Three Lions, while Leonardo Bonucci, Maisie Adam, and Richard Gadd are part of the visitors’ squad, which is managed by Usain Bolt.
